Mobile app development for iOS and Android .

We build mobile apps for businesses that need to be on their customers' phones or their own team's. From catalogue and sales apps to internal inventory tools. We also handle publishing on the App Store and Google Play.

Apps for businesses and retailers

Most businesses that come to us have one of two problems: they want customers to buy or browse from their phone, or they want their own team working from a phone instead of being tied to a desk. Those are very different applications and it is worth deciding which one you need before starting. We have built both: ContaCub, a cash-counting app published on the App Store, and MyNegocio, an inventory and sales tool.

  • Catalogue and sales apps for retailers
  • Inventory and stock control apps
  • Point-of-sale and invoicing apps
  • Internal apps for field teams

Native or cross-platform

A native app is written specifically for iOS or Android and makes full use of the device. A cross-platform app shares code between both systems and costs less. For most businesses cross-platform is the right call: the cost is noticeably lower and the result is indistinguishable to the user. We recommend native when the app depends on very specific system features or on graphics performance.

Publishing to the stores

Publishing an app is not uploading a file. Apple reviews every submission manually and rejects for reasons ranging from the privacy policy to screenshot quality. We handle the full process: developer accounts, store listings, screenshots, privacy policy, data privacy questionnaire, and the responses to Apple review if they raise anything.

  • App Store Connect and Google Play Console setup
  • Listings optimised for in-store search (ASO)
  • Screenshots, icons and promotional copy
  • Managing Apple review through to approval

Maintenance and updates

A published app needs maintenance. Apple and Google update their systems every year and require apps to keep up; certificates expire; new devices arrive with different screen sizes. We offer ongoing maintenance so the app keeps working and stays available in the stores.

Frequently asked questions .

How much does an app for my store cost?

It depends on whether you need a catalogue, payments, user accounts or inventory sync. A catalogue app costs considerably less than one with payments and order management. Tell us what you need and we will quote in detail.

Do you publish the app to the App Store and Google Play?

Yes, publishing is included. We manage developer accounts, store listings and the Apple review process, which is usually the more demanding of the two.

How long does Apple take to approve an app?

Apple review typically takes one to three days, but can run longer if they request changes. The most common rejection reasons are the privacy policy, missing support information and screenshots. We prepare all of that up front to reduce the risk.

Do I need an app, or is a website enough?

If your users visit occasionally, a responsive website is usually enough and far cheaper. An app is justified when you need push notifications, offline operation, camera or GPS access, or a place on the customer's home screen.

Does the app work offline?

It can. We build apps that store data on the device and sync when a connection is available. ContaCub, for instance, works entirely offline. This matters where connectivity is unreliable.

Who owns the app source code?

You do. We hand over the source code and documentation when the project closes.
